A Construction of Radical Ideals in Polynomial Algebra
=abstract=
Given an ideal~$I$ generated by~$n$ polynomials in~$m+n$ 
indeterminates over a field, we construct an ideal~$J$
from the given basis of~$I$ and one of its Jacobians.
We prove that~$J$ is radical and that~$J$ is the intersection
of some isolated prime ideals of~$I$ if~$J$ is nontrivial.
The result may be regarded as a generalization of a lemma
by~D.~Lazard.
