Generalized Fuzzy Rule Induction: An Object-Oriented Approach

This paper outlines the implementation of generalized fuzzy rule
induction methods in an object-oriented framework.  A key to the
generalization process is the formulation of partial characterizations
and probabilities within a generalized logical framework.  The logic
and the algorithms are implemented in a general way within an
object-oriented framework.  The pattern of the methods are defined in
a super class and specific variations of the algorithms and logical
data are either defined in the derived classes or during runtime
specifications.
