Given $C$, the algorithm generates a space graph which is topologically equivalent to the real variety on the Euclidean space. The algorithm is based on the computation of the graph of at most two birational projections of $C$. For this purpose, we introduce the notion of space general position for space curves, and we show that any curve in the above conditions can always be linearly transformed to be in general position, and we present effective methods to check whether space general position has been reached. =pdf= /home/jschicho/Top.pdf =note= Submitted to JSC =sponsor= BMF2002-04404-C02-01 and HU2001-2002 =keywords= algebraic curve, resultants, space curve
